FAQ

Q. Can someone else check in for me?
A. Yes. Print and sign the permission to pick up packet waiver and give it to someone attending a rider check-in. If you have donations to turn in, be sure to give them to the person checking you in. You must have reached the $400 fundraising minimum for your packet to be picked up. Permission slips are used when you designate another to pick up a rider packet for you. Anyone who DOES NOT sign up through the website will need to print and sign a paper waiver. Signed waivers can be turned in at rider check-in.

Q. Do I have to have raised my $400 fundraising minimum in order to check in?
A. Yes, you must have raised or bring with you a total of $400 or more in order to check in. You will be given the opportunity to make a donation for the difference with a credit card.

Q. I can't attend a rider check-in...what do I do?
A. You can call (800) 486-6762 to make other arrangements.

Q. I am a 150 Club member and was told my rider packet will be mailed to me. When can I expect it?
A. Return the Adult Waiver to the Bike MS Office and your packet will be mailed out in early September.

Using Your Rider Number

Please Use Your Rider Number At All TimesYour Bike MS Tour rider number identifies you as a cyclist in the Tour for the volunteer-staffed rest stops, road crew, lunch stations, luggage handlers, event photographers, bike check-in, overnight party and finish line.

It is our way of knowing who is on the route and where. As a matter of security, the National MS Society must provide Camp Pendleton with a roster of all registered riders before the event and military personnel will check your ID against this pre-determined roster the day of the event. Therefore, your number has been specifically assigned to you as a participant and MAY NOT be used by any other individual.

We thank you for your understanding and respect of the risk management and safety issues that arise in planning the Bike MS Tour.
